The Evangelical Reformed Church Westminster Confession in Austria and Switzerland bears witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ especially in places where it is unknown or has been compromised.
The ERKWB was originally founded by Reinhold Widter, who planted the first congregation in Neuhofen an der Krems (Austria). In his book “Evngelische Missionskirchen im nachchristlichen Europa” he wrote:
The protestant Church cannot be a ‘State Church’ anymore. It is a missionary Church in postchristian Europe. Church in the diaspora. Missionary Church on the intentional foundation of biblical-reformed truth.
For this purpose further missionary projects were developed to become congregations over time.
